Frank Mugeta Nyabundege

Managing Director, Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB)

Mr. Frank Mugeta Nyabundege is the Managing Director of the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB), where he provides strategic leadership in advancing agricultural transformation, financial inclusion, and sustainable development through innovative financing solutions and strategic partnerships with more than 25 years of distinguished experience on commercial banking, development finance, corporate banking, and institutional transformation.
Throughout his career, Mr. Nyabundege has built a proven track record of leading large, complex organizations, strengthening governance frameworks, improving financial performance, and mobilizing development capital across banking, infrastructure, agriculture, and industrial development sectors. His previous executive leadership roles include serving as Managing Director of Lake Oil Ltd. and TIB Corporate Bank, as well as holding senior corporate banking leadership positions at KCB Bank Tanzania, Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA), and Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania.
Deeply committed to continental cooperation and sustainable growth, Mr. Nyabundege serves as the East Africa Representative to the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) and as a Board Member of the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre (SADC DFRC). In these capacities, he actively contributes to policy dialogue, institutional capacity building, and regional integration across Africa.
Mr. Nyabundege holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership from Aalto University (Finland), a Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Diplomacy from the Centre for Foreign Relations (Tanzania), an MBA from Mzumbe University, and an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM).
