About the CEO Forum
The Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) is pleased to announce the 2026 CEO Forum of African Development Finance Institutions, which will take place at the Avani Lesotho Hotel & Casino, Maseru, Lesotho from November 4-6, 2026. The forum theme is ‘” Resilient DFIs for Stronger African Economies: Governance, Standards, Regulation, and Development Impact “. The host institution is the Lesotho National Development Bank.

Objectives
Strengthen governance, risk oversight, and the regulatory framework for African DFIs to build partners’ and investors’ confidence
Launch the revised AADFI PSGRS, reinforce awareness, uptake, and application of the PSGRS mechanism as tools for institutional strengthening.
Define frameworks for measuring, reporting and communicating the development impact of DFI operations to shareholders, regulators and the public
Receive the Report of the 2026 PSGRS peer review and Rating of African DFIs
Strengthen innovative approaches to mobilizing and blending capital, including a practical approach for DFIs in raising capital through the NAFAD arrangement to expand DFIs' financing capacity
Foster networking and strategic partnerships among AADFI members, regulators, and development partners
