Dr. Uche Nwachukwu

Dr. Uche Nwachukwu is Chief Strategy & Development Officer and Divisional Head of Strategy, Policy & Research at the Bank of Industry (BOI), Nigeria’s foremost development finance institution. He leads the Bank’s strategy, policy and research agenda, shaping where and how BOI deploys capital across Nigeria’s industrial economy.

He previously served as BOI’s Chief Impact Officer, overseeing development impact measurement, institutional communications and strategic partnerships. Earlier at the Bank, he was Manager, Financial Inclusion, and later Lagos State Manager.

Before joining BOI, he was Industrial Development Expert at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where he led implementation of Nigeria’s 2014–2019 Industrial Policy on behalf of the Federal Government. He also served as Technical Adviser to the Minister of Finance and spent six years as a management consultant at KPMG Nigeria.
